- Folding trunk organizer (car / SUV) — board-reinforced panels wrapped in synthetic leather or coated fabric, a lid or fold-down front, removable dividers and a base that stays put on trunk carpet. Assembled for daily use, folded flat when the full trunk is needed.

4. Brief gaps that cost a sample round
- Only the assembled size — without a folded thickness the fold pattern is a guess, and the carton changes later.
- “Sturdy” without a load — say what goes inside (groceries, shoes, tools, folded clothes) so board and handles are chosen for it.
- Lid decided last — a lid or fold-down front changes the panel layout; decide it before sample 1.
- Vehicle fit by model name only — measure the trunk floor and opening, or send photos with a tape measure in view.
- Surface chosen from a photo — name the finish (smooth, grained, quilted, felt) or ask for swatches, so the sample is not judged on colour alone.
- Logo after approval — moving a brand mark later can change the pattern; place it on sample 1.
- No pass criteria — write “folds to X mm”, “lid closes when full”, “handles carry X kg”, so approval is a check, not a debate.

Which board goes inside the panels?
It depends on the stiffness, weight and folding the box needs. Paperboard, honeycomb board, PP sheet and other supports are compared during development and confirmed on the sample; one material is not fixed before the brief is reviewed.
