Custom bags · Leather goods · Sewn soft goods
DINLEEY develops and manufactures custom bags, leather goods and functional sewn products for automotive, outdoor, travel, organization and professional applications.
Projects may use woven fabrics, coated textiles, PU/PVC, microfiber leather, genuine leather or combined materials. Work can begin with a concept, sketch, reference image, physical sample or Tech Pack—and continue through prototyping, production readiness assessment, sourcing, manufacturing and delivery.

Custom bag and leather-goods categories
Organization & storage
Soft organizers, modular pouches, collapsible storage, insulated products and systems that separate, protect or make contents easier to access.
Tool & equipment bags
Purpose-built bags and soft cases with fitted compartments, reinforcement, removable modules and selected protective structure.
Backpacks, travel & trolley bags
Functional backpacks, travel bags, duffels, wheeled soft bags and carrying products developed around load, access and brand requirements.
Leather goods & mixed-material products
Genuine-leather, microfiber, PU/PVC and textile-leather products using custom linings, hardware, branding, reinforcement and fitted components.
Handbags, backpacks and small leather goods for brand collections
For brands that design in-house and need a development partner, DINLEEY works as a custom handbag manufacturer and leather goods OEM: tote bags, crossbody bags, work bags and commuter backpacks, laptop sleeves, travel wash bags and packing cubes, plus small leather goods such as cardholders, purses and key pouches.

A brief can start from an existing bestseller: a vegan leather (PU) version, a colourway extension for the next season, or a matching laptop sleeve or travel pouch that fills a gap in the range. The path stays the same — custom brief → development → sampling → production, with sample approval before bulk. Send a sketch or reference sample.
Leather-wrapped jewellery boxes, watch boxes and gift boxes are developed as structured cases — see Structured Cases & Storage Boxes.
How we develop a sewn product
01
Use case and product brief
Clarify the user, contents, environment, carrying method, access pattern, target market and commercial requirements.
02
Structure and patterns
Develop dimensions, panels, gussets, openings, pockets, dividers, reinforcement and working patterns.
03
Sample and refinement
Review capacity, access, shape, carrying behavior, construction sequence, appearance and cost drivers through prototypes.
04
Production readiness
Assess repeatability, material and component supply, cost, quality risk, packaging and scalable production details before bulk manufacturing.
Construction details we evaluate
- Capacity and organization: usable volume, separation, visibility, pocket dimensions and loading sequence.
- Opening and access: zipper path, lid or flap behavior, one-handed access, removal and closing during real use.
- Load transfer: handle and strap position, attachment construction, base support and reinforcement around stressed areas.
- Shape and protection: foam, boards, piping, binding, dividers and structural panels selected for the intended contents.
- Finish and branding: material combination, color blocking, labels, logos, trims, hardware and visible stitch quality.
- Production repeatability: pattern yield, seam sequence, tolerances, component control, inspection points and assembly time.
Materials, components and branding matched to the requirement
Construction may use woven or knitted textiles, coated fabrics, genuine leather, microfiber leather, PU/PVC synthetic leather, linings, mesh, foam, insulation, reinforcement boards, webbing, binding, zippers, hook-and-loop materials, buckles, magnets, metal hardware and plastic parts.
Brand details may include embroidery, woven labels, rubber or high-frequency welded patches, screen printing, heat transfer, hot stamping, embossing and custom metal logos. Component and process choices are reviewed together with construction and target cost.
Selection is based on appearance, handling, load, abrasion, cleanability, storage environment, availability and target cost. Performance claims such as thermal or load-bearing ratings are used only when the construction and verification method have been defined for the project.
Soft goods can include rigid components
Sewn construction can be combined with foam, paperboard, MDF, honeycomb or plastic panels, fitted inserts, metal hardware and other components. These interfaces are reviewed as part of the complete product rather than as unrelated purchases.
Wheeled soft bags, travel bags and mixed-material products can combine sewn construction with structured panels, hardware and rigid components. Each project is evaluated against the intended appearance, function, quantity, cost and production requirements.
Custom bags and leather goods FAQ
Can DINLEEY develop a bag from a concept, sketch or reference sample?
Yes. We can review a concept, sketch, technical brief, reference sample, existing product or Tech Pack and develop the structure, patterns, materials and sample construction from that starting point.
Which bag and leather-goods materials do you support?
Projects may use woven textiles, coated fabrics, PU or PVC synthetic leather, microfiber leather, genuine leather or combined materials according to the approved specification.
Can sewn products include boards or rigid parts?
Yes. When required by the approved design, sewn construction can be coordinated with boards, foam, metal hardware or other rigid components.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Useful inputs include intended contents, dimensions, use environment, reference images or samples, material and branding expectations, target market, quantity range, timing and target cost.
Can DINLEEY develop handbags and small leather goods for my own brand?
Yes. We develop tote, crossbody and work bags, commuter backpacks, laptop sleeves, travel wash bags, packing cubes and small leather goods such as cardholders, purses and key pouches from your sketch, reference sample or Tech Pack, then sample for approval before production.
Can you develop a vegan leather version or new colourways of an existing bag?
Yes. Your current piece can be the reference for a PU (vegan leather) version, new seasonal colourways or matching accessories. Samples are reviewed and approved before any production decision.
